Container management allows for comprehension of where and how many containers are needed, when to move the surplus containers to fill the shortages. This makes operation possible with only a minimum required number of containers. Knowing the quantity also helps to prevent loss. However, it is not easy to track exactly how many containers exist when they move around.
By attaching RFID to containers and reading RFID collectively at the time of loading and unloading, it is possible to manage the quantity of containers that are moving without any human intervention.
